Buckwheat tea has long been established among the favorite drinks of the Chinese, but in Europe, and in Ukraine in particular, its popularity is just beginning to gain momentum. Buckwheat tea or Ku Qiao is prepared from the seeds of Tatar buckwheat, which grows in China and Tibet – these seeds are almost half the size of the usual buckwheat that we eat. Tea infusion is amazing – it is really delicious! It has chocolate and creamy notes, a little nut, roasted cereals. Buckwheat tea is quite rightly compared to granola or oatmeal cookies – the similarity of flavors is phenomenal. At the same time, the drink is very useful, pleasantly wraps the throat and warms it, does not contain caffeine, so even pregnant women and small children can drink it.
